We are off to a great start in the Media Center. All our classes from Kindergarten through Grade 5 have visited the Media Center and checked out books. During the first weeks, Grades 3-4-5 are learning how to self check out and check in, as well as how to search our online catalog Destiny. They are doing a great job!
Grades 1-2 are learning about the different neighborhoods of the Media Center and what kind of books are in each section. We are having fun discovering the many resources previously unknown!
Kindergarten students are hearing a library related story and checking out a book to take home. Please share their choice book and show them your love of reading!
Just a reminder: books are checked out for a 2 week loan period. Students must return their choice books in order to check out new titles. Kindergarten and first grade students should return their books weekly, so that they can choose a new book during the class media time.
Happy Reading-
